Can you share a project where you developed a cohesive brand visual system?
One project I’m particularly proud of was creating a complete visual identity for a small startup/college project. I started by understanding the brand’s target audience, values, and personality. Based on that research, I developed a logo, color palette, typography system, and a set of visual elements that could be used consistently across different touchpoints.
I then applied the system to social media posts, packaging concepts, marketing materials, and presentation templates to ensure a unified brand experience. My focus was on maintaining consistency while keeping the designs flexible enough for different formats.
This project taught me how important it is to build a visual system rather than just individual designs. A strong brand identity helps create recognition, trust, and a memorable experience across every customer interaction.

How would you translate cultural stories into modern packaging design?
I would translate cultural stories into modern packaging design by focusing on the essence of the story rather than simply replicating traditional visuals. I’d start by understanding the history, values, symbols, and emotions behind the culture, then reinterpret those elements through contemporary design principles such as clean typography, minimal layouts, and modern color systems.
For example, instead of directly using traditional motifs, I would simplify and adapt them into modern graphic elements that feel relevant to today’s audience while still respecting their origins. I believe good packaging should create an emotional connection, so I would use storytelling through visuals, materials, and messaging to make the product feel authentic and memorable.
My goal would be to strike a balance between heritage and modernity—preserving cultural identity while creating packaging that feels fresh, accessible, and appealing in today’s market.
