PopSips
PopSips City Ambassador

How would you spot opportunities for PopSips in your city?
I spot opportunities by looking at where young adults naturally gather to socialize and unwind. In my hometown of Silver Spring, MD, I see massive potential for PopSips at local hotspot hubs like Downtown Silver Spring outdoor plazas, summer food markets, and community kickbacks where people want a refreshing, better-for-you spiked beverage. When I’m at NCAT in Greensboro, the strategy shifts directly to campus life—tapping into the high-energy social scene around Aggie pride. I’d target major student milestones like Homecoming (GHOE) tailgates, off-campus day parties, and collaborative events with student organizations like dance groups and Greek life. Because PopSips is a spiked prebiotic soda, it perfectly hits the trend of students wanting a fun drink that doesn't sacrifice their wellness goals.

Can you share an example of a recent UGC video you created for a beauty or retail brand, and what made it feel natural instead of overly scripted?
A recent example of UGC I created is a humor-driven skit for a beauty and retail product that seamlessly transitions into an organic product demonstration. To keep it from feeling overly scripted, I framed the video around a universal and highly relatable social dilemma—'how to tell your friend their breath smells'—which allowed me to immediately capture the viewer's attention with a funny, high-energy hook rather than a traditional sales pitch. The delivery feels entirely natural because I used a casual, conversational voiceover style and physically demonstrated the product in a normal, everyday room, making it feel like a genuine recommendation from a friend. Even though the video is eligible for a TikTok Shop commission, the integration of the product feels completely authentic and unforced because it is presented as a practical, real-time solution to a common social scenario rather than a rigid list of brand talking points.

For a quick-turnaround project like this, how would you approach creating two distinct videos while keeping them aligned with the brand and your own content style?
To deliver two distinct, high-quality videos on a tight timeline, I would batch-produce my content while mapping out two completely different visual aesthetics. For the 'Retail Come With Me' video, the energy will be fast-paced, vibrant, and outer-world focused—capturing the excitement of hunting down Lanolips in-store with quick cuts and on-the-go audio. For the 'GRWM' video, I’ll shift the tone to an intimate, cozy, 'FaceTime with a best friend' style in my personal space, focusing on smooth texture shots and a relaxed routine. This batch-filming strategy ensures both videos feel uniquely individual, while my natural personality and the clean, hydrating focus of Lanolips tie them seamlessly together.
