Sorority Merch Chair Campus Ambassador

How would you approach connecting with sorority merch or marketing chairs on your campus?
I would start by building genuine relationships with sorority members on campus and learning what each organization values in their merch and events. Then I’d connect directly with marketing and merch chairs through respectful outreach like introducing myself in person at events or following up with a short message explaining who I am and why I’d love to collaborate. From there, I’d focus on being helpful first: sharing ideas for activation events, offering samples or product info, and showing how the brand could support their existing programming. My goal would be to build trust and create partnerships that feel authentic, student-led, and mutually beneficial rather than purely promotional.

Are you involved on campus? What experience do you have building relationships in organizations?
Yes. I’m actively involved on campus in leadership and student organizations, which has helped me build strong communication and relationship-building skills. As President of the Student Drone Operations Team and Treasurer for Women in Aviation, I regularly collaborate with peers, faculty, and industry partners to plan events, manage projects, and support team goals. I also work with organizations like OBAP and NIFA, where I’ve built connections with students who share similar academic and career interests. Through these roles, I’ve learned how to build trust, stay organized, and create meaningful relationships that help teams succeed and stay engaged.
