Describe a short-form video you created that performed well and why.

One of my best-performing short-form videos was a quick, aesthetic “day-in-the-life” style reel where I combined fast-cut visuals, trending audio, and close-up detail shots to create a mood-driven story rather than just showing a routine. I focused heavily on the first 2–3 seconds with a strong visual hook, then kept the pacing fast and dynamic to hold attention. I also used text overlays to guide the viewer through the story without needing sound, which helped increase retention. It performed well because it felt relatable but also visually satisfying it wasn’t overproduced, but still intentional. The combination of a strong hook, emotional pacing, and trenda ligned audio helped it reach a wider audience and get higher engagement than my usual posts. What I learned from it is that performance comes from understanding attention: you don’t just show content, you design it to keep people watching.

How do you approach creating content that resonates on both Instagram and TikTok?

I approach content creation by first understanding the brand’s vibe and the emotional reaction we want from the audience not just what we want to show, but what we want people to feel. For a brand like drinkremix.co, I’d focus on energy, aesthetics, and shareability. On Instagram and TikTok, I know the same content can’t always be treated the same way. TikTok is more trend-driven and raw, so I lean into fast hooks, storytelling, humor, and trending sounds. Instagram is more curated and aesthetic, so I refine the visuals and focus on clean, scroll-stopping imagery or Reels that still feel authentic but more polished. I also stay very close to trends, but I don’t copy them directly I adapt them to fit the brand identity so it still feels original. I test different formats, watch what performs, and continuously improve based on engagement. For me, good content is a mix of creativity, strategy, and consistency something that feels natural, but is still designed to capture attention in the first 3 seconds.
