How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?

When things get busy, I rely on a mix of digital tools and simple habits to stay organized. I typically use a task manager like Notion or Google Tasks to break larger goals into smaller, actionable steps, each with clear deadlines. That helps me stay focused on what needs to get done each day. For follow-ups or time-sensitive items, I set calendar reminders or email snoozes—anything that keeps important things from falling through the cracks. If I'm juggling a lot, I’ll also do a quick check-in each morning to prioritize and adjust my plan as needed.

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.

During my second year at university, I was part of a student-led initiative that organized weekly speaker events. We started experiencing a drop in attendance and realized that our promotional process was inconsistent and last-minute. I took the initiative to fix it. I created a simple promotional calendar and set up templates for social media posts and emails, making it easy for anyone on the team to share the event details in a timely, consistent way. I also started tracking engagement data—like the best times to post or what content performed best. As a result, attendance improved noticeably over the next few weeks, and the team felt less stressed because we had a clear system in place. It was a small operational change, but it made things run much more smoothly.

What excites you about this role and working with JOVA?

What excites me most about this role at JOVA is the opportunity to be part of a mission-driven startup that's reshaping how people approach nutrition. I really admire how JOVA combines convenience, transparency, and real nutritional value in its products—it's a smart, refreshing approach to health food. From a business development perspective, I’m excited about contributing to a brand that’s still growing and evolving. There’s something incredibly motivating about helping to build partnerships, identify new markets, and find creative ways to reach more people who would benefit from what JOVA offers. I’m also eager to learn what it takes to scale a consumer-focused health brand from the inside—from market strategy to customer feedback to product positioning. Being part of a close-knit, fast-moving team like JOVA's seems like the ideal place to make a meaningful impact while building practical skills in business and entrepreneurship.
