What does your meditation and/or breathwork practice look like?
My meditation routine involves finding a cozy spot in my dorm room, sitting cross-legged on my cushion, and closing my eyes. I take slow, deep breaths, focusing on the sensation of the air entering and leaving my body. As thoughts about classes and assignments pop up, I acknowledge them and then gently shift my focus back to my breath. This helps me feel more centered and relaxed, especially during the busy Spring semester. Additionally, I've been trying out breathwork techniques. One really like is inhaling deeply through my nose, feeling my chest and abdomen expand, and then exhaling slowly through my mouth. Doing this helps me unwind after a long day of campus activities and brings a sense of calm.

One creative way to build a community around Open on your campus is to organize an Open Day, where you can showcase the benefits of open education, open source, and open access. You can invite speakers from different fields and disciplines who use or contribute to Open resources, such as professors, researchers, developers, activists, and entrepreneurs. You can also set up booths and workshops where students can learn more about Open courses, platforms, tools, and projects that they can use or join. You can promote your Open Day through social media, posters, flyers, and word-of-mouth.
