How would you showcase sensitive-skin skincare in a relatable way?
For me, sensitive skin shows up most through hyperpigmentation, especially as a dark-skinned South Asian person. So I would center my content around that reality, because for a lot of us, it’s not just about irritation, it’s about the marks that get left behind after. I’d tell stories that feel real and specific, like dealing with dark spots from shaving, breakouts, or even just everyday inflammation, and how long it can take for those marks to fade. That’s something so many people with melanin-rich skin relate to, but don’t always see represented honestly.

What inspires your approach to storytelling on TikTok and Instagram?
My approach to storytelling on TikTok and Instagram is deeply rooted in my identity and lived experience. As an Indian creator, I grew up around Ayurvedic practices that weren’t “trends” to me... they were just a normal part of life. Things like hair oiling, using natural ingredients, and prioritizing holistic care were already embedded in my routine long before they became popular online. Because of that, my content feels very natural and honest. I’m not trying to sell a lifestyle. I’m sharing one I already live. I love creating content that blends tradition with modern aesthetics, showing how these rituals can fit into a busy, contemporary life while still honoring where they come from.
