What is a wellness or beauty brand that has great social media presence? What sets them apart?
Rare Beauty. Aside from the fact that Selena Gomez is a greatly loved artist with a remarkable presence, the brand uses powerful marketing strategies.
The brand focuses on products in demand. When lip oils were still gaining popularity, Rare launched lip oils with great consistency, quality, and variety. Once they launched the product, the brand sent PR kits to multiple known beauty influencers for them to try out and share, which made Rare gain exposure.
Rare usually posts videos of adored influencers and Makeup artists using the products. This keeps the customers engaged.
Also, Selena is seen using her products on social media. She posts videos promoting Rare Beauty products through fun filters and trendy audios. This makes the brand feel close to the customers and keeps them informed about Rare.
In my opinion, the number one factor that makes Rare Beauty a popular brand is how the products live up to their reputation. Good customer reviews make Rare a top recommendation anytime makeup is discussed.
What makes Rare a good choice for customers is its shade inclusivity. This makes the customer feel seen.
The brand is also cruelty-free and vegan which makes it ethical and good for the environment.
Lastly, What sets Rare Beauty apart from competitor brands is that it advocates heavily for mental health through regular posts and affirmations that "you are enough" and "you are beautiful the way you are". A lot of people relate to these themes and in return support the brand. Not to mention Rare Beauty's Rare Impact fund donates 1 percent of Rare's sales to support mental health all around the world. These are great causes that make the brand more approachable to a wider variety of people.

I am an active person. I love filling my time with extracurriculars and hobbies. Since I am a senior in high school, time is tight and I don't accept sacrificing my school work or the things I am passionate about. So with a bit of planning, to do notes, and great effort I manage to excel my school work while also working on my extracurriculars.
