Can you provide an example of a successful community engagement campaign you implemented in the past?
In high school, I was apart of a team, who was responsible for representing my grade. There, I was given the responsibility of advertising a new years dinner event at a church I go to. As someone who was also participating in the vent, I knew capturing kids my age and their attention, must involve more than a poster, with a link to sign up, the time, price, and attire. Within my team and I, we came up with a fun way to promote the event. What I was responsible for , was creating funny skits commercial, that not only involved those who were responsible for the event but as well as the attendees. This not only motivated kids to sign up for the event to watch it over on the big screen, with others but also motivated others to tag along in the video making process. There were many way I defined success. For starters when creating the video, we had many different skits and interviews. During that time, we had kids line up, to be apart of the video. These interviews were not only fun, but highlighted what Gen Z thinks about. Success was also displayed in the sign up process. The poster included two prices, an early bird price, and a "late sign up" price. I am glad to say about 80% of highschoolers signed up before the early bird deadline, and by the end, the event was sold out!.
