Proper Wild Campus Brand Ambassador

Tell us about any prior experience you have as a brand ambassador
I’ve previously served as a brand ambassador for Adobe, Swayze, Grubhub, and RYZE, where I gained hands-on experience driving brand awareness, user engagement, and redemptions through a mix of content creation and in-person campus activations. With Adobe, I focused on promoting Adobe Express to students by creating relatable short-form content, running giveaways, and hosting design workshops in collaboration with student orgs—showing how easy it is to make standout resumes, social posts, and pitch decks, even without design experience. For Swayze, I led sampling pop-ups, captured lifestyle content, and integrated the product naturally into my daily routines through TikTok and Instagram to build authenticity and trust. At Grubhub, I leveraged high-traffic student moments—like late-night study sessions or finals week—to activate promo codes through digital campaigns, campus partnerships, and direct outreach. And with RYZE, I organized early-morning “coffee swap” events and educational content around functional wellness, helping position the brand as a smarter, healthier alternative. Across all four roles, I consistently hit engagement and redemption goals by combining social-first content with targeted, creative on-campus strategies tailored to student life.

Are you part of any clubs or organizations on campus?
Yes! I'm part of several student organizations at NYU that would help amplify Proper Wild’s presence on campus. For example, I’m on the Product Management Club’s leadership team, where I regularly help organize large-scale events and pitch competitions, often partnering with major brands and tech companies. I’m also part of the Chinese Student Society (CSS) on the marketing team, which has an engaged online community and 2K+ followers on Instagram—ideal for boosting social visibility. Being involved in both business and cultural spaces on campus gives me a wide network across different student communities, which I’d leverage to promote Proper Wild through collaborations, giveaways, and targeted in-person activations.

How would you approach organizing a campus event to promote Proper Wild effectively?
To effectively promote Proper Wild at NYU, I would organize a high-energy “Power Up Pop-Up” in one of NYU’s high-traffic areas like the Kimmel Center, Bobst Library steps, or the Tisch/Weinstein courtyard during peak class hours. I’d hand out free Proper Wild shots at a branded table with QR codes for easy redemption, encouraging students to tag @ProperWild on IG or TikTok for bonus giveaways like merch or an extra shot. To tap into NYU’s culture, I’d partner with performance-based or wellness clubs—like NYU Motion or the Running Club—and invite them to co-host or promote the event. Pre-event buzz would be built through Instagram Stories countdowns, short-form TikToks (“What I keep in my bag as an NYU student”), and flyers in dorms like Third North and Rubin. The goal would be to bring Proper Wild’s clean energy into students’ everyday routines—whether they’re headed to a 9 a.m. lecture or a Tisch rehearsal—while tracking success through QR redemptions, tagged posts, and follow-up polls via campus group chats.
