My favorite song is I Know the End by Phoebe Bridgers. The instrumentals whirring and buzzing and yet remaining tranquil and calming toward the beginning are just genius, and her songwriting overall is just so powerful. The images she conjures are so specific and yet so easy to emotionally connect to. The build of the whole song is incredible as it ties to the whole “end of the world” feel, and I am always a huge fan of women screaming at the end of songs! Overall this song and every component of it truly encapsulates a feeling of fleetingness and simultaneously anticipation, which is why I feel like every time I listen there is always more to dissect.

Yes! I’ve done musical theatre my whole life and currently take voice lessons! I was also trained in saxophone for 5 years! My parents are huge new wave fans, so I’d consider our chats about music studying :)
