One of my favorite podcasts is How I Built This. I really enjoy hearing the stories behind how different companies and brands got started, especially the challenges and failures along the way. It’s interesting, inspiring, and gives a behind-the-scenes look at what it actually takes to build something successful.

Yeah, I remember giving feedback during a user interview for a mobile app I used pretty often. I mentioned that one of the main features was hard to find because it was buried in the menu, and I suggested making it more visible on the home screen. A few weeks later, I noticed an update where that feature was moved front and center. It felt really rewarding to see that change, knowing my feedback may have played a role in improving the experience for other users too.

I usually participate in user interviews because it’s a quick and easy way to share my opinions and feel like my feedback actually matters. If it’s something I use or care about, I like the idea that my input could help improve the product or experience. The incentive is definitely a nice bonus too, especially for a short 15-minute session. Overall, it feels like a low-effort way to make an impact and sometimes even learn something new.
