What's one thing about Formula Fig that made you want to apply? Be specific.
What stood out most to me is the way Formula Fig emphasizes education and personalization through its treatments. The brand doesn’t just provide services; it helps clients understand their skin and feel confident in their routines. That approach aligns perfectly with how I already think about beauty and how I create content, making things feel simple, informed, and approachable. The combination of science-backed skincare, meaningful conversations with clients, and a highly intentional brand environment is ultimately what made me excited to apply.

Describe how you manage your time when juggling multiple deadlines. Give a specific example
One of the biggest things I’ve learned in the last few years is how to manage my time when I’m balancing multiple deadlines across school, work, leadership roles, and content creation. I rely heavily on structured planning, weekly task batching, and clear prioritization. A specific example is this past academic year when I was serving in multiple leadership roles in Phi Mu — Treasurer, President, and Social Chairwoman at different points — while also working part-time, taking full credit hours, and consistently creating 2–4 videos per week for my content pages and brand partnerships. Each role had its own deadlines, from budgeting and executive board meetings to event planning, reports, and chapter responsibilities.

Tell us about a time you taught yourself a new tool or skill without being asked. What was it, and how did you approach learning it?
A time I taught myself a new skill without being asked was when I wanted to improve the quality and performance of the content I was creating for brands. I realized that my videos would do even better if I learned how to edit more professionally, so I decided to teach myself CapCut’s advanced editing tools and analytics features. I approached it like a small personal project. I watched tutorials, experimented with different transitions and pacing, and recreated edits I liked from creators I admired. I also practiced analyzing my content’s performance to see which editing styles held attention longer. Within a few weeks, I was able to produce cleaner, more engaging videos with stronger storytelling, something that helped me elevate my UGC work without anyone asking me to. This experience taught me that when I notice a gap in my skill set, I’m quick to take initiative, find resources, and teach myself what I need to grow.
