Please talk about something you've done that demonstrates attention to detail.

In my biology class, we had a test where we had to look at different kinds of plants and write down what made them unique. The task was to find and write down the unique traits of plant parts like leaves, stems, flowers, and fruits. Careful observation: Before the lab started, I made sure to carefully look at each plant example. I paid close attention to things like the shape of the leaves, how they were arranged, their color, texture, and anything else that made them unique. I also closely looked at the flowers and made notes about how many petals they had, what colors they were, and how they reproduced. Taking careful notes: As I looked at each plant, I made careful notes in my lab notebook. I wrote down the exact sizes of the leaves and flowers, the number of petals, and anything else that would help me figure out what they were. I made sure my handwriting was clear and readable so I wouldn't misread my own notes later. After writing down what each plant looked like, I checked my notes against the botanical references and field books that were given to me. I wanted to make sure I didn't leave out any important information and that my findings were correct. Labeling and organization: When I was done making observations, I put my notes in order and gave each plant species the right name. I made sure not to mix up any of the information when I wrote the popular and scientific names. Accurate drawings: As part of the task, we had to make drawings of each plant that were very detailed. I took my time to make exact drawings of the plant that showed all of its features. I used different colors to bring out certain details, like the lines on a leaf or the patterns on a flower. Review and check for mistakes: Before I turned in my lab report, I carefully looked over my notes and drawings. I made sure that none of my info was wrong or didn't match up. I also carefully checked my drawings to make sure they were accurate depictions of the plants I had looked at. My biology teacher told me I did a good job with the lab project because I paid so much attention to details.
