I’m part of two of the largest student-led programs on campus - CALD Ambassadors and Peer Support Leaders which both run year-round with more than 100 active members. Through these, I’ve helped plan and film student-facing content that promotes inclusion and wellbeing, like short interviews with new students and behind-the-scenes campus day videos that reached hundreds of views within the first week. In Peer Support, I often handle the social side - collecting quick feedback from students, writing captions that actually sound like students, and encouraging responses to small surveys (our last one hit 80+ replies in under a day). These roles have made it natural for me to talk to people across different friend groups, which is perfect for getting authentic reactions to products or opinions about skincare on campus.

I personally love watching the classic StudyTok trending videos—things like the ‘What’s your GPA?’ trend or storytelling clips where students share real study wins and fails. What I enjoy most is how creators subtly introduce fire apps or tools into these stories, making them feel like natural recommendations rather than ads. I also love content that blends humor, relatability, and real student scenarios -- it grabs attention, feels genuine, and encourages engagement. I think this style works because it’s authentic, shareable, and easy to relate to. Viewers see themselves in the stories and naturally connect with the tools being highlighted. That’s why I know I can bring the same energy to Focus Tree: I’d create social-style TikToks involving classmates, friends, and everyday campus moments, integrating the app naturally into the content so it feels fun, relatable, and aspirational, not forced. Basically, I don’t just watch these trends -- I analyze why they work and immediately think about how to recreate that engagement for the apps I’m promoting, which aligns perfectly with your goal of driving connection and growth for Focus Tree on TikTok!
