What’s your approach to improving content based on feedback or analytics?
My approach is very data-driven. After posting, I review analytics like watch time, completion rate, shares, comments, and saves to understand what resonated most with viewers. I pay close attention to the first few seconds of the video because retention there usually shows whether the hook worked. If I notice patterns-such as certain hooks, pacing, or visual styles performing better-I apply those insights to future videos. For example, I may adjust the opening hook, shorten certain segments, or highlight the product earlier in the video to keep viewers engaged.I’m also very open to brand feedback. If a brand wants to emphasize a specific message or angle, I adapt the content while still keeping it natural for my audience. Combining analytics with feedback helps me continuously refine my content so it performs well while meeting the brand’s goals.

When you get a creative brief, how do you make it feel authentic?
When I receive a creative brief, I start by understanding the brand’s core message and the key points they want highlighted. From there, I translate those points into a format that naturally fits my content style and the expectations of my audience.I focus on storytelling rather than making the video feel like a traditional ad. For example, I often integrate the product into a real moment in my routine-such as getting ready, grocery shopping, or making something like a smoothie-so the product feels like part of my lifestyle rather than a scripted promotion.I also pay attention to tone and delivery. My audience responds best to honest reactions, quick hooks, and visually engaging moments, so I keep the content conversational and genuine while still hitting the important points from the brief. This approach allows me to stay aligned with the brand’s goals while creating content that feels authentic, relatable, and engaging for viewers.

What’s your process for coming up with hooks that stop people from scrolling?
My process for creating scroll-stopping hooks starts with understanding what makes viewers pause within the first 1–2 seconds. I focus on three main elements: curiosity, relatability, and visual contrast. For example, I often start videos with a bold statement, a surprising result, or a quick visual transformation that immediately signals value to the viewer.I also analyze trends and audience behavior on TikTok and Instagram to see which hook formats are currently performing well. Then I adapt those formats to fit the brand and product in a way that feels natural rather than overly promotional. When working with brands, I focus on integrating the product directly into the hook so the audience immediately understands the value. For example, I’ve created content for Biodance as well as other lifestyle and beauty collaborations, where I used hooks like testing a trending product, showing a before/after result, or starting with a relatable problem the product solves. My goal is always to make the first few seconds feel authentic, visually engaging, and curiosity-driven so viewers stay to watch the full video.
