Storytelling connects people from all walks of life and exists in so many different forms—whether through visuals, words, or even everyday rituals. Beauty, in particular, is such a powerful medium for storytelling because it’s deeply personal and expressive. The products we use, the routines we create, and the way we show up in the world all say something about who we are. I’m drawn to beauty storytelling because it allows for both creativity and connection—it’s a space where authenticity thrives and where people can see themselves reflected in new, inspiring ways.

I’m super proud of the video I created where I surprised my friend by setting up a one-year anniversary date for her and her boyfriend—who actually met on Bumble! As a former Bumble ambassador, it was the perfect way to naturally tie in the brand while showcasing my creativity and personality. The video takes viewers through the full setup, making them feel like they’re part of the planning process and the celebration, while also highlighting how Bumble played a real role in their love story.

How do you stay updated on current digital marketing trends?
I stay updated on digital marketing trends by staying tapped into the platforms where those trends are actually unfolding—mainly Twitter and TikTok. On Twitter, I follow marketers, brand strategists, and culture writers who are always sharing insights, campaign breakdowns, and hot takes in real time. It’s like a live feed of what’s working and what’s not. On TikTok, I pay attention to trending sounds, creator behavior, and how brands show up organically (or miss the mark). It’s super useful for understanding tone, timing, and what actually resonates with audiences. I also keep an eye on brand accounts that are consistently doing it right, and I reverse-engineer why their content hits. These platforms give me a constant pulse on what’s current—because in digital marketing, being early and authentic matters just as much as being strategic.
