Design must be functional. If it is not, then it is not design - which is not a bad thing, depending on the applications. I find inspiration in both the mundane and the eccentric. In things we pass by everyday, but never really tend to notice. It could be a pavement texture that had weathered over time. It could be things, or people, that stand out, and dissecting what about them makes it so special!

I took the role of Architectural Departmental Councillor in my uni's Student Union, and we propose and vote on policies for the SU to strive towards. This year I am working on policies to improve the SU's relationship to sustainable and ethical food practices, as well as inclusivity campaigns - which will affect the student body as a whole!
