“We’ve been together long enough that our arguments are basically recurring episodes with slightly different titles. One of us says ‘we should leave in 5 minutes,’ which actually means 35. The other says ‘I’m not hungry,’ then eats exactly half the fries. We send each other memes from opposite ends of the couch instead of speaking. And somehow our most romantic moments are things like forwarding the parking payment screenshot, remembering the other person’s coffee order, or silently agreeing that neither of us has the energy to cook so cereal counts as dinner.I think the funniest/honest part is that love stopped looking cinematic and started looking like an ongoing group project where we’re both underqualified but weirdly committed to making it work.”
