I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, President of Curl Talk a club focused on dispelling negative stereotypes surrounding kinky and curly hair and fostering a community where people can celebrate their authentic selves, I am also a member of the predental association, the Black Student Union, and The Womens Network.

Yes sometimes its very difficult for me to communicate how I feel with those I am close to due to fear of judgement.

I am someone who takes mental health and mental fitness very seriously, last year I had some struggles with mental health during a period where my best friend had to drop out of college in order to focus on her battle with cancer. One of the ways I managed my mental health during this period was by having meaningful conversations with peers, which I can help promote on campus while working with Inner Journey!
