what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
I would lead sampling efforts by creating experiences that naturally fit into student life. Study survival kits would be distributed during midterms and finals and include ColourPop samples along with small essentials, encouraging students to try the products during stressful periods when self care is especially appreciated. Blind box sampling would be offered to the general public in high foot traffic areas. By receiving a mystery ColourPop product, people are encouraged to engage with the brand in a fun and memorable way, while also motivating sharing, trading, and organic social media interaction. I would also coordinate sorority formal sponsorships where members use ColourPop products while getting ready together and receive touch up products to bring with them through the night. This allows students to experience the products in real time in a social setting that naturally encourages visibility and word of mouth.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage my audience by creating content and experiences that feel authentic and social rather than overly promotional. As an active member of Sigma Delta Tau, I’ve hosted sorority events and collaborations with brands like Essenerb, Princess Polly, and LoveShackFancy, giving me experience promoting products through real-life engagement. For ColourPop, I would share get-ready-with-me content, event looks, and everyday routines that show how the products fit naturally into student life, while also incorporating giveaways, polls, and interactive posts to encourage participation and trust.

what do you love about colourpop?
Here’s a short, polished, application-ready version that sounds natural and genuine: ColourPop was one of the first makeup brands I ever saved up to buy with my own money, which makes it feel special to me. I love creating looks, and ColourPop gives me so much variety in colors and formulas at a price point that’s actually accessible for students.
