These roles require multiple 2-hour shifts each week and sometimes early mornings or weekends. Are you comfortable with that schedule, and how would you manage your time to stay consistent?

Yes, I’m comfortable with that schedule. I’m someone who values structure, so I use time-blocking to plan my weeks in advance — especially during busy periods. Early mornings or weekend shifts aren’t a problem as long as I can organize myself well, which I’ve learned to do through previous jobs and university deadlines. Consistency comes naturally when I commit to something I believe in.

Can you describe a situation where you successfully increased customer engagement and loyalty?

At Direct Result, I once approached a man who was hesitant about long-term commitments. Instead of pushing the offer, I asked questions about causes he cared about, and tailored the conversation to what genuinely mattered to him. He ended up signing up for a monthly donation — and even thanked me for the conversation. That experience taught me that authentic curiosity and personal connection are powerful drivers of engagement and loyalty.

Tell me about a time you had to approach and engage with strangers—how did you break the ice and keep the interaction positive?

I used to work at a company called Direct Result, where I had to approach strangers and negotiate them into subscribing to monthly support payments for nonprofit organizations. I learned that the key to keeping these interactions positive is listening just as much as — if not more than — you talk.
