When have you convinced your friends to try a new app?
convinced my friends to try BeReal when it first started gaining traction by showing them how fun and low-pressure it was compared to other social apps. I explained that it was all about capturing real, unfiltered moments once a day—which made it feel more authentic and less curated. After I posted a few times and shared the funny, candid pics I was getting, they got curious and downloaded it too. It quickly became something we looked forward to doing together each day, and it actually brought us closer by showing what everyone was up to in real time.4o

Can you share an experience where you successfully collaborated with student groups or local businesses for a brand partnership?
Yes! My mom has a self-owned business, and we often collaborate with other small business owners for events like farmers markets and demos. We do so to help bring attention to their products, and to show that it is possible to use both and our products at the same time!

How would you strategize a inperson camaign to drive sign-ups for the SharpStakes app?
To drive in-person sign-ups for the SharpStakes app, I’d plan a campus-tailored campaign around major sporting events—like football or basketball game days. I’d set up an eye-catching booth or table in a high-traffic area with SharpStakes-branded merch, QR codes for instant app sign-ups, and a live demo of how the app works. To boost excitement, I’d run a giveaway or mini-competition (e.g. guess the final score, win a prize) where entering requires downloading the app. I’d also partner with student orgs and local bars to co-host watch parties where we can promote the app directly to engaged fans.4o
