Share an experience that highlights your ability to build strong relationships.

One experience that highlights my ability to build strong relationships is through running my small business, OopsISewedItAgain. Since starting it, I’ve made it a priority to create genuine connections with my customers, both online through Etsy and in-person at vendor markets. For example, I had a customer who purchased one of my hand-sewn pouches at a market. We struck up a conversation about sustainable fashion and shared interests, and I followed up with a personalized thank-you note in their package. That simple gesture led them to not only become a repeat customer but also recommend my products to friends. Over time, they became an advocate for my brand on social media, sharing posts, and visiting every single one of my pop-up events.

This experience taught me how building authentic relationships through listening and thoughtful communication, creates trust and long-term loyalty. I’m excited to bring that same relationship focused approach to a team like Linktree, where connecting with creators and partners is key.

What types of creators do you typically like to follow?

I typically like to follow creators who focus on sustainability, fashion, and small business entrepreneurship, since they align with my personal interests and values. I’m especially inspired by creators who share their process, whether that’s behind-the-scenes content on how they design products, tips on running an ethical business, or stories about building a brand from the ground up. I also follow artists and educators who use their platforms to share knowledge and foster a sense of community. In general, I’m drawn to creators who are authentic, engage with their audience meaningfully, and use tools like Linktree to connect people to multiple facets of their work. Ultimately, I appreciate creators who balance creativity with purpose, and I love discovering how they use digital platforms to grow their presence and deepen connections with their audiences.

Have you had sales or account management experience?

As the founder of my own brand, I’ve developed strong client relationship management skills by handling all customer communications, processing orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. I've also participated in vendor markets where I engaged directly with customers, explained product benefits, and closed sales in real-time. Additionally, during my e-commerce internship at the University Co-Op, I analyzed sales data and trends to optimize product performance, supporting the team in managing online inventory and ensuring accurate product listings for a better customer experience. These roles have sharpened my communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities—key components of account management and sales.
