What is a memorable coffee (coffee shop) experience you've had that holds a fond memory?

One year I ended up being alone on my birthday because all my friends and family had been busy. To go console myself I headed over to my local coffee shop that is open well into the night and ordered my usual comfort order. In that, while I was crocheting at a table people watching, a stranger walks up and sits across from me, noting that my work of crochet reminded him of his mother and the comfort that her clothes she made brought to him. From this, we stemmed a conversation and I began to realize how experiences range for everyone, how I wasn't the only person going through hardship, and how there's always going to be a better day.

What role does journaling play in your life?

Journaling in my life means that I have a place to express my emotions in a space without judgement, conflict, or any sort of negative outcome. It also allows me to look ahead into my plans and reassure myself that things will turn out well.

Why do you think you would make a great moderator?

For me, being a moderator doesn't mean holding a higher standing over someone else, but rather it means to seek agreements and peace between others while making sure everyone's best interests are at play.
