In my experience, engaging with consumers in a retail environment comes down to building connection and trust. I’ve developed strong communication and organizational skills through my administrative and virtual assistant work, which translates well to customer facing roles. I’m comfortable listening to people’s needs, answering questions clearly, and making tailored recommendations. I also understand the importance of creating a positive, welcoming experience whether that’s making sure displays or schedules are organized, or following up quickly and professionally. I enjoy turning casual interactions into opportunities to build relationships and encourage repeat engagement.
