Do you have experience filming short-form social media content?
Yes, I do. I previously applied to be a GPT Ambassador on my campus, and while I wasn’t selected, the process gave me valuable hands-on experience. I practiced filming short-form vertical videos, focusing on clear expressions, natural delivery, and keeping clips concise and engaging. That experience helped me understand how short-form content works and how important authenticity and timing are, especially for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.

What makes a reaction video engaging to you?
For me, a reaction video is engaging when it feels real, not forced. You can tell right away if someone is overacting. The best ones are simple, just a genuine face that matches the moment. If I can instantly relate to the reaction without thinking too much, it works.
I also think timing matters. In short clips, the reaction has to hit quickly and feel honest, like something you’d actually do when studying or stressing about school.

Describe a time you successfully engaged with a social media account.
I’ve successfully engaged with social media accounts by consistently interacting in a natural way rather than forcing engagement. For example, on a brand-focused Instagram account I helped manage, I regularly liked and commented on content within the same niche, followed relevant creators, and responded to comments quickly. By doing this daily, the account started appearing more often in similar users’ feeds, engagement increased, and posts began receiving more likes and comments without using ads. This showed me how consistent, organic interaction can help warm up an account and improve visibility on both Instagram and TikTok.
