Why do you think in-store sampling still matters in a world dominated by social media and digital ads?
Places like Costco thrive off of in-store sampling because it makes a mundane task into an experience and journey of seeing what you might discover at a grocery store. It also gives one a chance to try things before purchasing the full size. There have been instances where I tried a new product and did not like it and gave away the rest of my item. With in-store experience you can eliminate this problem.

What makes someone trustworthy when representing a brand in public?
What makes someone trustworthy when representing a brand in public is seeing them interact with others beyond selling the product like them asking how your day is. This creates an immediate connection to a stranger and makes you feel more trusting in them. Also seeing that the representative is enjoying the products as well, we are more trusting of things when we see others doing it as well.
