Yes! In one of my class projects, we had to present a research topic in a creative way, so instead of a traditional slide deck, I turned the written content into a short-form video, similar to a TikTok or IG Reel. I took key points from the text and broke them down into a visual script with engaging captions, transitions, and background music that matched the tone. I made sure the information was easy to digest but still fun to watch—adding light humor and clear visuals to keep people’s attention.The feedback was super positive—not only did people stay engaged, but many said they actually remembered more of the content because of the video format. That’s when I realized how powerful video can be when it’s done creatively.

How do you stay updated with the latest trends on IG Reels and TikTok to incorporate them into your content creation?
I love spending time on Instagram Reels and TikTok not just for fun, but also to get a feel for what’s trending—whether it’s sounds, transitions, editing styles, or content themes. I usually scroll through the For You page and the Explore page daily, and I save trends that I think could align well with a brand like OWL Venice. I also follow a few creators and social media experts who break down trends early so I can catch them before they peak.When I see something trending, I immediately start thinking creatively about how to make it fit a brand’s identity. For OWL Venice, that might mean pairing a viral sound with a calming aesthetic or showing behind-the-scenes moments of product prep, healing routines, or customer testimonials in a way that’s visually soothing but still playful. I think it’s all about finding that balance between what’s popular and what feels authentic to the brand. Since I am a Chinese international student I could using my Chinese TikTok to get some interesting ideas and creations that in tiktok haven't explored yet.

I’d use platforms like Instagram and TikTok to identify influencers, wellness coaches, holistic nutritionists, or small businesses that share similar values and aesthetics. I’d look at their content quality, engagement rates, and how they connect with their audience—not just follower count.When reaching out, I’d make each message personal and respectful—mentioning what I genuinely like about their content and how a partnership with OWL Venice could be mutually beneficial. I’d keep the tone warm and friendly, because people respond best when they feel seen as individuals. I’d also track all communication and test different outreach strategies to see what works best over time. Being reliable and thoughtful in every message is key, especially in the wellness space where trust and authenticity really matter.
