Interview Questions
Hella Hoodys
Campus Brand Ambassador

How would you excite your campus about a bold new sportswear brand?
I would wear it around campus first. If people see it on you at games, in the gym, or just walking around and it looks good, they ask about it naturally. I'm already active in spaces where sportswear gets noticed like BJJ, soccer, fraternity events. That's way more effective than just posting a promo code into the void.

What organizations are you involved in?
I'm a co-founder of Tally, a gamified productivity startup that was a finalist at Rutgers' Shark Tank competition. Within Phi Delta Theta I hold two roles, Scholarship Chair and Warden, so I'm pretty embedded in chapter life and have direct access to a solid network of students. I'm also part of Rutgers BJJ and RU Soccer, which puts me in athletic communities that are always looking for ways to save on food and rides. On top of that, I've already done a Campus Ambassador role for Uber One and hit 100+ sign-ups, so I know exactly what moves the needle at Rutgers.

How would you promote Uber One benefits at a campus event?
I'd build the event around something students already want to do, such as gaming, free food, a giveaway, and weave Uber One into it naturally. Show up, play, and while you're waiting your turn someone's walking you through the membership benefits in 60 seconds. I'd have a QR code set up so sign-ups happen on the spot, not "maybe later". I would focus on making it feel like a fun hangout, not a sales pitch.
