How do you identify influencers that fit a brand’s audience?
As a college student, I think one of the best ways to identify influencers that fit a brand’s audience is by looking at communities that already naturally align with the product. For example, through my experience in a sorority, I’ve seen how soda brands partner with influencers and campus organizations that genuinely match their target audience and lifestyle. Those partnerships feel authentic because the influencers already use and enjoy the product, which makes their audience more likely to trust the recommendation. I also think engagement and community interaction matter more than just follower count, especially when trying to reach college students.
