Interview Questions
JOVA
Business Development Intern (Health Food Startup)

How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?
I stay on top of tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines by maintaining a structured to-do list and beginning each day by prioritizing my responsibilities. I then map out my schedule based on those priorities to ensure I’m focusing on what matters most.

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.
Last summer, I was a Growth Marketing Intern at a tech startup, where I led the company’s ambassador program. I optimized the program to scale more efficiently by expanding our ambassador base and improving how we promoted the product. I noticed that several tasks were unnecessarily manual and time-consuming, and so I used Python to develop automation tools that significantly streamlined operations and reduced overhead to create a more efficient and successful program.
