What tools do you use when creating social media? How are your illustration and video creation skills?
I use a range of tools based on the project. For finance-related work, I primarily use Excel, Google Sheets, and Tally for analysis, budgeting, and reporting. For content creation, I rely on Photoshop for advanced graphic design, Canva for quick visuals, and CapCut or InShot for video editing. I use Notion or Google Keep to organize ideas, and platforms like Instagram Insights, X Analytics, and Google Trends to track performance and spot trends. I also use Trello or ClickUp to manage tasks and content calendars. I’m always open to learning new tools to match client needs.

Can you walk me through your creative process when developing content ideas?
My creative process begins with understanding the goal and target audience, what are we trying to achieve, and who are we speaking to? Then, I research current industry trends, competitor content, and platform-specific behavior to spot what’s working. I brainstorm ideas by combining insights with creativity, often sketching rough outlines or headlines. Once I shortlist ideas, I align them with the brand tone and platform format (like reels, carousels, or threads). I test content with small audiences when possible and use analytics to refine what works best. For me, it’s a mix of data, instinct, and storytelling.

How do you stay up to date on social media trends?
I stay updated on social media trends by actively following leading creators, marketers, and industry pages across platforms like Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube. I regularly check trend reports, algorithm updates, and platform news from sources like Social Media Examiner, Later, and HubSpot. I also monitor viral content, hashtags, and emerging formats to understand what’s resonating with audiences. Staying curious and experimenting firsthand helps me stay ahead of the curve.
