Additionally, I also consider the content’s look and feel and make sure that it fits the platform and the audience. Sometimes, I also use trending topics and humor to make the content more relatable and personal.

What makes user-generated content effective for a beauty brand?

User-generated content is a great strategy for a beauty brand as it helps build trust, authenticity, and relatability. When users post about their experiences with a product, it helps others see that a beauty brand is indeed effective at what it promises. UGC is also a great way to engage a beauty brand's community as users are inspired to use the product and post their own content. Moreover, UGC is very ‘shareable’ as it is perceived as genuine, authentic, and non-advertisyally ‘pushy.’

If I had to use this strategy for a beauty brand, I think I’d use user-generated content by creating a compelling brand narrative, emphasizing product benefits, and engaging users by creating challenges or hashtags.
