Depends, however, nowadays not much. A clear camera and clear on-screen text will do. No words have to be spoken.

What key metrics do you track to ensure a social media page is business-ready?

I don't just base metrics off of follower count. First things first, the page has to be established under a business/professional account. If we're on Instagram, I'm looking at the professional dashboard for analytics insight including engagement, posts that performed well, audience reach (more women than men?), and move accordingly. Also, I'm constantly inspired by peers in the same space so if I notice reels are doing well for the algorithm, the focus will remain there. Also, having a website or Linktree is helpful for those wanting to find out more.
