Do you have any experience in negotiation? If not, how would you negotiate down a creator's fee?
I do not have experience in negotiation, I would approach it by being transparent, respectful, and prepared. I'd start by explaining the budget constraints and the value of a long-term partnership, offering the creator the opportunity for future collaborations. I'd also suggest alternative compensation, such as performance-based incentives or more exposure. By focusing on the mutual benefits and being open to compromise, I would work to find a fair solution that meets both parties' goals. Additionally, I'd aim to learn from the negotiation process to improve my skills for future opportunities.

What do you look for in a creator who has potential for viral content but isn't yet widely discovered?
I look for creators with a high engagement rate (over 5%), as this indicates a loyal, active audience. Their content should be unique, authentic, and creatively aligned with the brand's message. I also prioritize consistency and growth trends, seeking creators who post regularly and show steady audience increases. The ability to hook viewers within the first 3 seconds and maintain engagement throughout a video is key. Lastly, creators who adapt well to TikTok trends and challenges while adding their own twist show strong viral potential. These factors combined help identify creators on the verge of breaking into wider recognition.

If I gave you $2000 to create viral content, how would decide which creators to collab with? (the more detail the better)
With $2,000, I’d select TikTok creators strategically to maximize engagement and reach. First, I’d define campaign goals and target audience. Then, I’d research creators based on engagement rates, content style, audience demographics, and past collaborations. I’d allocate $1,200 to macro-creators (100k–500k followers) for broad reach and $800 to micro-creators (10k–100k followers) for high engagement. Negotiations would focus on cost-effective partnerships and creative freedom. Once content is live, I’d track performance metrics, optimize based on engagement, and amplify viral posts through paid promotions. This ensures a well-balanced, impactful influencer strategy that drives brand visibility and community interaction.
