what are some example studios you would target in this role?

In this role, I would research and identify boutique fitness studios and luxury hospitality groups that align with equipt’s design-forward and wellness-driven mission. I would target studios like Barry’s, Solidcore, and The Class for their strong brand presence and aesthetic values, as well as hospitality partners such as Equinox Hotels, 1 Hotels, and Soho House, where high-end fitness equipment would enhance their guest experience. My outreach strategy would be personalized and focused on showcasing how equipt’s products elevate both form and function in modern fitness spaces, helping secure meaningful partnerships that reflect the brand ethos.

Can you give an example of a successful outreach strategy you have implemented in the past?

One successful outreach strategy I implemented was during my work with Triangle STEM Foundation. We identified the Art of Problem Solving Academy as a mission-aligned organization and reached out with a personalized, value-focused proposal. I highlighted the mutual impact we could make by increasing access to advanced math education for underrepresented girls in STEM. Through consistent and clear communication, we secured a partnership that provided scholarship opportunities for young girls interested in math and problem solving. This collaboration not only expanded our impact but also opened the door for future educational partnerships.

How would you approach building relationships with potential business partners?

I would approach building relationships with potential business partners by focusing on genuine connection, mutual value, and consistent communication. First, I would take the time to understand their business, goals, and audience so I can tailor my approach to what matters most to them. I would reach out with a clear purpose and show how a partnership could benefit both sides in a meaningful way. From there, I would prioritize transparency, follow through on commitments, and look for ways to add value over time. That could include creative collaboration, shared insights, or thoughtful gestures that help build long-term trust.
