what are your favorite editing apps to use for your content to help you save time while making great reels?

My favorite editing app is CapCut. It’s super user-friendly and easy to navigate, which helps me save a lot of time when creating reels. I also love their wide range of templates—they’re creative, trendy, and make the editing process fun and effortless. Every time I use it, I find new features that keep me returning for more.

How do you stay updated with social media trends and apply them to your content creation strategy?

I stay updated with social media trends by being actively engaged on platforms daily. I’m always exploring new content, which helps me notice patterns in what's trending.

I also regularly talk to friends with different interests and social media feeds than mine. These conversations give me fresh perspectives and help me understand what’s resonating with different audiences.

I apply what I learn to my content strategy by adapting trends in a way that feels authentic and relevant to my audience.

Can you share your experience in creating engaging social media content for businesses?

This semester, as part of the first cohort of student ambassadors, I became a brand ambassador for Grammarly on my campus. Through creative promotion and engagement strategies, my campus ended up leading in sign-ups compared to other participating schools.

In addition, I serve as the event coordinator and social media chair for Girls Who Code, a student organization at my university. In this role, I create content that resonates with our audience and helps promote events and initiatives. One of our most successful months saw our Instagram page reach over 11,000 views, showing strong engagement and interest from our campus community.
