Share a few of the most impactful traditions as it relates to March Madness on your campus?

March Madness is always a big deal on campus, Since our school has a big campus there are always activities related to the team and a tradition is the watch parties for the big games. The student center or common areas fill up with groups of friends, everyone’s got snacks, and the energy is off the charts. It’s less about being a die-hard basketball fan and more about enjoying the hype of the tournament together and supporting our team. And of course, we’ve got some classic game-day spirit events where we show up in our school colors, wave flags, and support our team that’s playing on campus. It’s that sense of community and excitement that really makes March Madness a unique time of year for everyone.

What groups, organizations, or communities do you lead or play a significant role in?

I’m currently not in any organizations at my school because I’m still trying to adjust to the workload. In high school, however I lead my school’s media team for the UN model, amongst other events, where we would record, edit and post content to increase the visibility.

If Uber were to host an activation on campus during March Madness, what would be your best idea for the brand to uniquely engage students?

If Uber were to host an activation on campus during March Madness, I'd love to create a fun, interactive experience that ties into the excitement of the tournament. My idea would be to set up mini basketball challenges around campus, things like free throw contests, dribbling relays, or even a quick shooting game. Students could form small teams or compete individually, and the winners would get Uber-related rewards like ride discounts, free deliveries, or even promo codes for their next Uber trip. It’s a fun way to get students involved, tap into the March Madness hype, and give them something they can actually use. Everything would be recorded for social media and we could use a special hashtag for the Uber event on campuses all across the country. Plus, it’d encourage people to think about Uber for their next ride or delivery, all while creating a cool, laid-back vibe on campus.
