How would you create engaging content for a natural beauty brand?
As someone who grew up in an Indian household, Ayurvedic practices have always been part of my daily life. One tradition that has stayed with me is hair oiling, something my grandmother used to do for me growing up. Now that I live on my own, continuing that practice has become a meaningful self-care ritual that connects me to my culture and family. For a natural beauty brand like Karanja Beauty, I would create content that shares these kinds of authentic stories and routines. For example, I could create short-form videos that show how Ayurvedic traditions like hair oiling fit into a modern routine while blending personal storytelling with education about the ingredients and their benefits. I believe audiences connect most with content that feels real and relatable. By sharing personal experiences, such as continuing traditions passed down through family while adapting them to everyday life today, I can help communicate the deeper cultural and wellness aspects behind Ayurvedic beauty. Visually, I would focus on warm, calming aesthetics and routine-based content such as self-care rituals, ingredient highlights, and day-in-my-life style posts that show how natural beauty practices can fit naturally into modern lifestyles. Overall, my goal would be to create content that honors the cultural roots of Ayurvedic beauty while making it feel accessible, authentic, and inspiring for a wider audience.

What strategies do you use to grow and engage social media audiences?
On my social media platforms, I focus on creating lifestyle and wellness content that feels authentic and visually engaging. I’ve learned that audiences respond best to content that feels personal and story-driven rather than overly promotional. For example, I often share everyday routines, food, wellness, and lifestyle moments that naturally integrate products or experiences, which helps build trust and relatability with my audience. To grow engagement, I prioritize platform-native formats such as short-form videos, carousel posts, and interactive stories. These formats allow me to tell a story visually while also encouraging interaction through questions, polls, or comments. I also focus on strong captions that invite conversation rather than just describing the post. Another important strategy I use is consistency in aesthetic and messaging. By maintaining a cohesive visual style and sharing content that reflects my interests in wellness, lifestyle, and self-care, I’ve been able to build an audience that engages with those themes. Finally, I actively interact with my audience by responding to comments and messages and paying attention to which types of content generate the most saves, shares, and engagement. I use those insights to refine my content and create posts that resonate more deeply with my community. Overall, my approach is to combine authentic storytelling with consistent engagement so that audiences feel connected to both the creator and the brand.

How would you create content that connects emotionally with prom goers and gen z shoppers?
I would connect emotionally by treating prom content like a story, not an ad. For Gen Z, a dress isn’t just fabric, it’s confidence, firsts, photos with friends, and feeling seen. I’d focus on real moments: the nervous try-on, the group chat debate, the mirror reveal when you finally feel like “that girl.” Showing those in authentic, unfiltered ways helps girls picture themselves in the experience instead of just looking at a product. From my own experience getting ready for campus formals with AMA and Lonestars, the best moments are never perfect, they’re friends hyping each other up, laughing about fit struggles, and figuring out how to style one dress three different ways. I’d recreate that energy with GRWM transitions, friend reaction clips, and “help me choose” polls so the audience feels part of the decision, not just a viewer.I’d also prioritize inclusivity and practicality; showing different body types, budget styling, and re-wear ideas, because my audience wants to feel understood, not sold to. By blending trend-driven visuals with honest storytelling, the content would feel like advice from a big sister who’s been there, not a brand talking at them.
