New Brew's brand involves tapping into nuanced cultural conversations. Can you describe a time when you navigated sensitive or complex topics in your creative work, and how did you ensure your approach was authentic and resonated appropriately?
I recently flew out to the Philippines for a magazine shoot that highlighted rising Southeast Asian models. As part of it, we were interviewed about what it’s like being an Asian model in the industry, and how things like tokenism can show up in global campaigns. To keep it real, I just spoke from my own experience — saying how rare it was to be on a set led by Asian creatives, and how different that felt in the best way. Being honest about that made the conversation feel more grounded and genuine. I believe there are multitude of other people that feel exactly this way, in completely different scenarios. When approaching nuanced cultural conversations, leading with your own true personal experience can resonated with more people than you may think.

Tell us about a time you took initiative beyond your typical responsibilities to drive results. What motivated you, and what was the outcome? -- Are you 21 years or older?
While training at the San Francisco Ballet School, I was tasked with creating a new piece. None of the offered music felt right, so I collaborated with my brother, a music producer, to create our own track with pop and R&B influences. It pushed the boundaries of traditional ballet, and the final piece led to an opportunity to dance in the Netherlands, where contemporary and neoclassical styles take center stage.
Yes, I am over 21 years old.

How would you approach developing a comprehensive digital marketing campaign for a unique product like New Brew's non-alcoholic beverages?
How I would approach a digital marketing campaign for a unique product like New Brew is by leaning into the whimsical and euphoric experience that Kava and Kratom leaf provide. There's a growing presence in mainstream media — from music to television — that highlights the use of perspective-altering substances. A compelling concept could be a “before and after” narrative, visually showing customers what New Brew can unlock for them.
