A lot of makeup is marketed as “everyday,” but still leans too glam focused and often feels like it has to be either day or night, and never both. I feel like there's an opportunity to show that Pound Cake’s lip gloss can do both and neither: a true everyday lip essential for hydrated, comfortable, polished lips without a full face, and a high impact product when it is styled for night. Showcasing this versatility, while educating on how different shades and pigment levels appear across lip tones and undertones, would help more people find their perfect “my lips but better” shade for all occasions.
