what brand does a great job of their content?

I think a brand that does an exceptional job of storytelling through their content and has built a community is The Nitro Bar (@thenitrobar), a coffee company based in Rhode Island. Because of their authentic storytelling and relatability from their owner, their candid style videos have garnered lots of positive attention and created a dedicated fanbase that is always excited to try their newest coffee creations.

What makes social media content engaging to you?

For me, the most engaging social media content is rooted in authenticity and storytelling. I’m drawn to content that feels real and relatable, something that doesn’t just promote, but shares a genuine experience or perspective. Storytelling makes content more memorable because it connects on an emotional level. Whether it’s highlighting the journey behind a brand, sharing a personal experience, or capturing an everyday moment in a creative way, authentic stories invite people to see themselves in the content. That sense of honesty and connection is what makes me stop scrolling and pay attention.

what are ideas you have for a yerba madre branded event?

One idea I have for a Delta Sigma Pi event would be to partner with Yerba Madre and host a networking and wellness-themed social. Since Yerba Madre focuses on natural energy and clean ingredients, it ties in perfectly with our chapter’s emphasis on professional development and student wellness. The event could be structured as a casual mixer where members and potential recruits come together to connect, recharge, and learn. We’d offer samples of Yerba Madre products and create interactive stations like maybe a ‘pair your flavor with your personality’ activity, or a Q&A corner where students can share how they stay energized and balanced during a busy semester. To add value for the brand, we could feature Yerba Madre in our event marketing across social media, tagging them in posts and highlighting their products in photos. This collaboration would not only give Yerba Madre exposure to ASU’s student body, but also allow Delta Sigma Pi to host a unique, memorable event that aligns with both professional networking and personal well-being. It would showcase the fraternity as forward-thinking and connected to brands that resonate with students, while also creating a fun, interactive experience that draws in new members.
