What does your meditation and/or breathwork practice look like?
Every day I strive to spend the first ten minutes of the morning taking deep, continuous breaths to welcome myself into the day. At night, I end the day with controlled breathing, where I inhale, hold, and exhale for 15 second intervals each, for 5 minutes before returning to calmer breathing patterns.

Open can introduce the benefits of mindfulness to students by hosting meditative sessions at the Tongva Park at UCLA. Especially during times of stress such as finals, a public session allowing students to practice being present with themselves can encourage them to find a community through Open.
