You don't like the product, how do you proceed with this gig? Who do you notify and what steps do you take?
I proceed by still advertising the product as what doesn't work for me, will work for others and I highlight the benefits of the product rather than the cons of using it to attract an audience more likely to purchase the product. I would personally notify via a private email to the company's manager or board my reasoning for the dislike through friendly feedback and criticism of the product in order to help the product be more inclusive for everyone including myself.

important considerations are taking into account that everyone's experience may be different than mine so do not generalise, and also the prospect the product has for the future of generations and for each specific age group/race/gender.
