What is your approach to engaging creators through direct messages?
My approach is to treat creators like collaborators, not distribution.
First, lead with their style. I’d engage with their content consistently before any ask so the relationship feels natural. When reaching out, I’d reference specific videos and explain why their voice fits Smash Kitchen, not just their numbers.
Second, pitch ideas, not briefs. Instead of telling them what to make, I’d bring a loose concept they can shape in their own way. That keeps the content authentic and performs better with their audience.
Third, make it easy and worth it. Clear expectations, fast communication, fair pay, and creative freedom. Creators talk, and a smooth experience turns one collab into long term advocates.
Finally, amplify them. Feature their content, reply in comments, and treat them like part of the brand. That builds loyalty and encourages others to want to work with you.

How would you show up as Smash Kitchen in the comments? give 2-3 examples.
Playful and hype works because it matches the energy people already bring to food content. It amplifies excitement instead of interrupting it, which makes people more likely to like or reply. It also positions Smash Kitchen as part of the moment, not just a brand watching from the sidelines.
