What makes a recipe post stand out to you?

recipe post stands out to me when it feels relatable and genuinely easy to follow along when it shows real hands, real pacing, and simple steps without overexplaining, focuses on one clear idea, and makes the process feel achievable rather than intimidating if I can instantly picture myself making it, understand why each step matters, and feel confident by the end instead of overwhelmed, that’s what makes it memorable and worth saving.

How would you create engaging cooking content for social media?

I’d create engaging cooking content by treating it like a story, not a recipe.. opening with a mistake or problem people recognize (“this is why your chicken is dry”), showing the contrast between what most people do and the one small correction that changes everything, and teaching a single principle instead of a full dish so it’s memorable and save worthy; I’d let sound and pacing carry emotion, cutting ruthlessly so every moment either builds tension or clarity, avoid step-by-step handholding, and end with a confident insight instead of a CTA, because the goal isn’t to impress with perfection but to make viewers feel capable, opinionated, and respected content that builds taste, not tricks, is what actually earns attention and shares.
