Interview Questions
Cleveland Kitchen
Pickle Ambassador Wanted!

Can you share a successful sales tactic you have used in a previous role?
In a previous role helping with pop-up wellness events, I found that storytelling was one of the most effective sales tactics. Rather than just listing product features, I shared how I personally used the product, what I loved about it, and how it could benefit others in a realistic, relatable way. This helped build trust and sparked genuine interest. People respond to authenticity, so creating that connection made it easier to guide them toward a purchase without feeling pushy.

How would you engage with shoppers to encourage them to try Cleveland Kitchen's pickles?
I’d tap into genuine enthusiasm—because I do love pickles! I’d start by sharing what makes Cleveland Kitchen’s pickles different: fresh, crunchy, packed with flavor, and fermented for gut health. Whether it’s highlighting a unique flavor or offering a quick sample, I’d connect with shoppers by asking fun, approachable questions like, “Are you a classic dill fan or something more bold?” Creating a light, interactive moment makes people more open to trying something new—and once they taste the quality, they’re usually hooked!

Business Development Intern (Health Food Startup)

How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?
I stay organized by using a combination of digital tools and written to-do lists. I rely on apps like Google Calendar and Notion to set reminders, track deadlines, and prioritize tasks. When things are moving quickly, I break projects into smaller, manageable steps and check in with myself regularly to stay on track. Staying flexible but focused helps me keep everything running smoothly, even in fast-paced situations.
