KNowing the tone and Style expectations in the GIG description, Brainstorm a concept you'd bring to life if you're accepted into this GIG.
A concept I would love to bring to life is around being a multi-passionate creative student who doesn’t want to be boxed into just one lane. Alongside being a student, I run a small start-up focused on teaching Yoruba, which is a language that doesn’t always have a lot of modern or accessible learning resources. Adobe Creative Cloud has honestly been a game changer in helping me bring that idea to life.
For the short-form video, I’d show my full creative process from start to finish. I’d start with an idea, then show how I use InDesign to create and reuse templates so I can quickly mass-produce educational content. From there, I’d jump into Photoshop to customize each design, experiment with colours, imagery, and layouts, and really make the content feel expressive and original. I’d highlight how this workflow helps me stay organised and consistent while still giving me the freedom to be creative, even when I’m balancing classes, freelance photography, and personal projects.
For the static asset, I’d focus on the idea that you don’t have to choose just one creative identity. Some days I’m doing photography and editing in Lightroom, other days I’m designing layouts or graphics in Illustrator. I’d visually show all of the different hobbies and skills I have picked up in one place to emphasise that Adobe lets you explore multiple creative paths without limiting yourself. Also, I’d show myself working across different environments, on my laptop and iPad, at home, on campus, and on the go, to highlight how flexible and student-friendly Creative Cloud is.
Finally, I would connect it back to coursework and career prep by showing how the same tools I use for my startup and content creation are helping me build a strong portfolio and confidence as a creative while I’m still in school.

What adobe applications do you have experience with? Please elaborate.
I have been using Adobe applications for a long time, starting back in high school when I first got into graphic design and art. One of the main programs I’ve worked with is Adobe InDesign. I created a digital sketchbook for class coursework where I designed the overall layout of my own artworks. For creating some of the artworks, I used Adobe Photoshop a lot, especially for experimenting with masking and colouring. I have also used Photoshop to design posters and flyers for school club and volunteering events, so I’m very comfortable using it for both creative work and graphic design projects.I also do freelance photography on the side, so I regularly use Lightroom to edit my photos. I use it for client work as well as for editing visuals that I post on TikTok, and this has helped me get really comfortable with colour correction and creating a consistent, thematic look.I’m also an architecture minor, and through that I’ve been learning and using Adobe Illustrator for clean, precise graphics and design work.
