I value beauty products that are cruelty-free, clean, and formulated with people of color in mind. As a black woman, I had to navigate endless searches in beauty stores and online for makeup and skincare that may work for me. I am happy brands like Pacifica Beauty don't follow the status quo of exclusive beauty and self-care, and in the year of 2026, brands like this have made significant progress. A product that is clean and cruelty-free shows consumers like me that the brand takes our health into consideration and that they are against barbaric animal practices. With the developments in cosmetology, there is no reason a beauty brand should not hold these values, and Pacifica Beauty is surely one that defeats the backwardness of the industry. That said, if I come across a product that is none of these things, it's not worth my money
